Pick a small business that you find interesting and (bookstore, coffeeshop, brew pub, plastics manufacturer, construction contractor, retailer, lawn and snow service, restaurant, farming, ranching, appliance repair, mechanics shop, gymnasiums, realtors, ski and snowboard shops etc.) Post a one-page synopsis of how all the businesses that make up that industry are contributing to the US economy. Please convey this information using graphs and short, concise sentences.
For instance, how much coffee is sold through coffee shops around the United States? What are all these coffee shops contributing to GDP? How many jobs are they creating? Are the aggregate of small businesses in that industry creating any negative externalities (for instance, are all the small businesses in the coffee industry contributing to negative climate change?)
